Prior to the work beginning please remove any valued and fragile items from the jobspace the day before. This includes items such as pictures, ceramics, electronic equipment, etc. I will move all necessary appliances & heavy furniture.
As can be expected in any remodeling project there will be some degree of mess. I clean up as I go saving valuable time at the end of the job. But after the job is finished be prepared to do some cleaning yourself.
Estimates are free of charge unless the work to be done is part of an insurance claim. The charge is $100.00 for such and will be credited towards the final invoice.
Most insurance companies require the homeowner to get a minimum of 3 proposals. I often get calls to give an estimate solely to meet those requirements. Insurance companies in general are more concerned with price rather than quality. My time and know-how are valuable and I deserve to be compensated for that.
Deposits & Payments
Most jobs require a deposit of 50% prior to starting any work and the balance upon job completion. Larger jobs can be split into 3 payments with the balance due at job completion.
- Payment is expected upon job completion.
- Payment methods are check or cash.
- Checks will be accepted only from local banks & local credit unions.
